Pakistan Vs India PTV Sports Live Streaming ICC T20 World Cup 2014

India and Pakistan will play the opener of Super-10s in the ICC World T20 2014 on 21st March. Bharath Seervi brings out a compilation of numbers and statistics between these two traditional rival teams’ clashes in the modern format of cricket.Pakistan vs India first T20 2014 Live

The first clash between India and Pakistan in the modern format of cricket — T20 — was in the ICC World T20 2007 at Durban, South Africa. And the match got to end with none of the teams winning! Yes, the match was tied. Bowl-Out, the decider of tied matches, was played and India won on the same basis. With this, India continued their streak of never losing to Pakistan in World Cups (both ODIs and T20Is). India also defeated Pakistan by a mere five runs in the final of the same tournament to lift the inaugural T2o World Cup.

Both teams once again met in the ICC World T20, this time five years later, in Sri Lanka in 2012. India held the upper hand once again and the result was the same which began in the 1992 World Cup. Three months later, they played a T20 bilateral series of two matches in India which ended in a draw 1-1.

Now, India in the way to continue their winning streak against the neighbouring oppositions and the oppositions searching for a way to end the streak, they meet in the first match of Super-10 stage of the ICC World T20 in Bangladesh.

Overall, Pakistan has a better record against India in both the other formats — Tests & ODIs.

India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2013 Live Streaming Today

India: Openers - Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma - have given good start in the previous two matches, with the former scoring back-to-back centuries and the latter scoring back-to-back half centuries. They will be expected to give a good start in the upcoming matches too and give room for the middle order to play their natural aggressive shots. With skipper MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik and Ravindra Jadeja in the batting line-up, they could be intimidating to their opponents.India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2013 Live Streaming Today

On the bowling front, Ravindra Jadeja has taken seven wickets and other bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma have been impressive. They look rather weak as compared to some other teams but have played reasonably well this tournament.

Pakistan: Opener Nasir Jamshed scored a half century in the opener and then 42 in the second match, while skipper Misbah-ul-Haq scored 96 in the match against West Indies, but the form of other batsmen - Imran Farhat, Mohammad Hafeez, Asad Shafiq and Shoaib Malik - is a big worry. They need to put their acts together and put up a big score on the board to counter India's strong batting line-up.

On the bowling front, Mohammad Irfan is the highest wicket taker from the team with four wickets. With Wahab Riaz, Junaid Khan, Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Irfan in the line-up, they are touted as a strong bowling side but their performance has been not impressive this tournament. They need to restrict the score of the opponents as their batsmen look vulnerable.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra and R Vinay Kumar

Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq (Captain), Abdur Rehman, Asad Ali, Asad Shafiq, Ehsan Adil, Imran Farhat, Junaid Khan, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Jamshed, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Malik, Umar Amin, Wahab Riaz

SH vs PWI Live Streaming, Live Score & Scorecard

Sunrisers_hyderabad_vs_pune_warriors_ipl_2013_live_streaming
The star batsman is nursing a hand injury and is likely to miss the first few matches of the event. Despite this, the Sunrisers would be quite a handful for the Warriors. The team, which retained Kumar Sangakkara as captain despite having a different owner after Deccan Chronicle Group pulled out due to its financial woes. Indian veterans Kris Srikkanth and VVS Laxman, both mentors for Sunrisers, have joined hands with Australia's Tom Moody (chief coach) and former Pakistan paceman Waqar Younis (bowling coach) to form a strong team of support staff for the Sunrisers.SH vs PWI IPL Live Cricket Streaming

In the batting department, Sangakkara, South Africa's JP Duminy, Sri Lanka's Thisara Perera and Australian Twenty20 specialist Cameron White along with India's Parthiv Patel make the team highly competitive. They have an ace up their sleeves when it comes to bowling as South African tearaway pacer Dale Steyn would lead the attack for them. Steyn is currently ranked number one in the ICC rankings. Ishant Sharma and experienced spinners like Amit Mishra and Nathan McCullum are the other proven bowlers in the line-up. Pune Warriors, on the other hand, suffered a setback when Australian Michael Clarke was ruled out of the entire IPL season due to a recurring back injury. But the return of Yuvraj Singh and the presence of Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews, Ajantha Mendis and New Zealand's Ross Taylor has bolstered the team. The Warriors, coached by former South African great Allan Donald, also feature some promising domestic stars such as all-rounder like Abhishek Nayar and Parveez Rasool, the first player from Jammu and Kashmir to have been signed by an IPL franchise. Nayar was an expensive buy at USD 675,000 for the Pune team. Squads Sunrisers Hyderabad: Kumar Sangakkara (captain), Akshat Reddy, Amit Mishra, Anand Rajan, Ankit Sharrma, Ashish Reddy, Biplab Samantray, Cameron White, Chris Lynn, Dale Steyn, Darren Sammy, DB Ravi Teja, Hanuma Vihari, Ishant Sharma, Nathan McCullum, Parthiv Patel, Prasant Padmanabhan, Quinton deKock, Sachin Rana, Shikhar Dhawan, Sudeep Tyagi, Thalaivan Sargunam, Thisara Perera and Veer Pratap Singh.
