Pakistan Vs Bangladesh in 2nd ODI today Live Cricket Streaming

Pakistan Vs Bangladesh in 2nd ODI today Live Cricket Streaming: Pakistan will face Bangladesh on Saturday in their second One day international (ODI) of the three-match series.

The slow and low tracks in Mirpur may have stifled Pakistan’s batting, but it’s done worse for the hosts. Their captain Mushfiqur Rahim said: “I have not experienced what home advantage is in the last two series, to be honest with you. When you talk about home advantage, you expect to be playing on pitches you are familiar with, so you know what a good total would be, be it 240 or 150.” But he was also prompt to point out that his batsmen “lacked application”. They lasted just 30.3 overs in the previous game, struggled to last 20 overs in the Twenty20 game before that and even in Tests, and have largely found it tough to bat for extended periods.

Earlier, Pakistan beat Bangladesh in their first one day international cricket match by five wickets.

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees, Imrul Kayes, Mushfiqur Rahim (capt & wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Mahmudullah, Elias Sunny, Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam.

Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal,  Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal.

Watch Pakistan vs Bangladesh 1st ODI Cricket Highlights 2011: After an excellent series victory over Sri Lanka, Pakistan will be looking to keep their momentum going when they start the ODI series against Bangladesh in Dhaka. The tour opening Twenty20 may have set the pattern for rest of the limited overs leg of Pakistan’s Bangladesh visit. The Men In Green are certainly turning out to be a force to be reckoned with after a string of confident showings in the last two series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. The new found life in the team is largely associated with a motivational approach of skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq and surprisingly, the whole team has responded to him with resounding success on the cricket field. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will have their work cut out for them as they have not beaten their fellow Asian nation since the 1999 World Cup in England.

A two-one home series defeat to the West Indies in October didn’t make it any easier to instill some confidence in a young Bangladesh side, who will once again be captained by Mushfiqur Rahim. The hosts have a few problems to address after the batting fell apart to some precise bowling from their opponents. If deemed fit, Tamim Iqbal will be a certain necessity as he provides solidarity upfront. The skipper said after losing the first game that they had missed the left-hander and hopes of an improved performance from his players. The key for them will be Shakib Al Hasan. He remains one player of genuine world class ability as he showed with his mature bowling and he will be hoping for a better outing in the first ODI. However, Bangladesh can be pathetic one day and out of nowhere, produce scintillating performance the next day. In short, the hosts well known unpredictability is their only hope of getting past Pakistan in the ODI series.

Pakistan by contrast are a far more settled unit, with Misbah-ul-Haq continuing to lead the team after the four-one ODI series win over Sri Lanka in the UAE. With the first 50-over game being played at the same venue, the tourists will again be looking to keep up the good work and prove how far they have come since a troublesome last year. There is a recall to the squad for left-arm seamer Mohammad Khalil, who has been performing amicably on the domestic scene and, having not played for Pakistan since 2005, at the expense of the injured Junaid Khan. The only other change is also in the bowling department as Mohammad Talha is given an opportunity in place of Wahab Riaz. The other change expected from the side will be the induction of experience veteran Younis Khan, which will mean either Asad Shafiq or Shoaib Malik will have to make way. Pakistan always have had the reputation of not utilizing their talent properly. But, it remains to be seen if Pakistan can carry on their winning streak into the next year.
